BRENT NELSEN - President/Creative Director/Director of Photography/Editor
1990 - Brent started a productions in 1990 as a High School junior. He participated in establishing an in-school television studio as chief camera operator and editor/producer. Outside of school He worked alongside the main cameraman for channel 4 in New Orleans. This is when Brent discovered his passion for video productions. In 1992, He moved from New Orleans to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and began documenting weddings in 2003.
Brent started is own production company in 2005 re-branding it with the name, Studio:43 Productions, Inc. Coastal Wedding Films, a division of Studio:43, allows him to apply his skills and talents to producing wedding films that tells your wedding story so that in any moment you choose you can virtually step in to your time machine and revisit the most precious moments of your life.
DARIN NELSEN - Cinematographer
Darin has been with Studio:43 since its conception in 2005. Darin is a main cinematographer who has a trained eye for capturing that right moment. He alone has captured many weddings some as the chief camera operator.
He spends his days as a music teacher which. A great asset to our company because not only his Darin a talented Cinematographer but he has a sharp ear for sound. Many production companies who document weddings do not pay that much attention to sound. Well, along with lighting, capturing the right image and moment, sound is a priority of Coastal Wedding Films and Darin is an expert with audio as well.
